Black Bean Spread


Everyone can enjoy this delicious and hearty vegan spread on a sandwich or wrap.

Black Bean Spread

20-30 servings

  • 4 cups black beans
  • 1 cup yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 roma tomato
  • ½ onion
  • lime juice to taste (approx less than ½ cup)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

  1. In a food processor, pulse black beans until blended.
  2. Add the yellow pepper, roma tomato, onion, lime juice, and olive oil. Pulse just until combined. Add cilantro, salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Refrigerate. Keeps for a week and can be frozen.
