Makes one 9"x9" pan (serving size up to discretion)

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup coca powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1-2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

1)  Preheat oven to 350º.

2)  Combine oil, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and optional chocolate chips in a large bowl and set aside.

3)  Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.

4)  Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and pour into a greased 9”x9” pan.

5)  Bake 15 – 20 minutes, once the edges pull away from the sides of the pan.
