Application Process

Thank you for your interest in working with us.

All seasonal positions for the 2015 summer season have been filled. We will begin accepting applications for the 2016 in fall of 2015. Please check back in late summer for an exact date. We do not accept applications any earlier than November.

The following items are required as part of a complete application. When prompted to upload your resume, include all three items as one .doc, .txt, or .pdf document.

1) A letter that addresses:

  • How you heard about Camp Denali and North Face Lodge
  • Why you want to work with us
  • The job you are applying for
  • The relevant skills and experience you bring
  • If you possess a current driver's license with less than three moving violations in the past three years
  • A description of your work ethic
  • A short description of your near-term goals
  • An indication of your willingness and ability to move to Denali National Park, AK and commit to at least three years of year-round employment.
  • Your dates of availability; the first day you could be working in Alaska. (Our operating season in the park runs from late-May to mid-September. Year round staff live and work at the park entrance area the remainder of the year.)

2) A current resume that indicates your education, volunteer, and work experiences.

3) Three professional references. Provide their names, titles if they have one, relationship to you, and contact information; usually an email address and phone number will suffice.

An hour-long phone interview followed by an in-person interview near our location with a Camp Denali representative is required.

We regret we are not able to conduct in-person interviews outside the U.S. International applicants must acquire a work visa that is valid through the length of their employment.

Feel free to send an email to or call 907-683-2290, should you have any questions.
