Thank you for your interest in working with us. We are fully staffed for the summer of 2010. To work with us next summer, 2011, please submit the three items listed below by early January 2011.

For the summer of 2011 we will be hiring an Executive Chef, an Operations Coordinator (aka Facilities Manager), and Naturalist Guides. We are accepting applications these positions immediately. Ideally, the interview process will occur over the summer and the new Chef and new Operations Coordinator will spend the month of September at Camp Denali/North Face Lodge helping to shut down the kitchens and the facilities for the winter.

1) A letter that addresses:

• How you heard about Camp Denali and North Face Lodge.
• Why you want to work with us.
• The job you are applying for.
• The relevant skills and experience you bring.
• Something about your work ethic.
• A short description of your near-term goals.
• An indication of your willingness and ability to commit to two (three for Executive Chef, Operations Coordinator and Naturalist Guides) summers of work.
• Your dates of availability; the first and last day you could be working in Alaska. (Our full season is  the third week in May through mid-September.  Preference is given to applicants who can work the whole season.)

2) A current resume that indicates your education, volunteer, and work experiences.

3) Three people who will be references (professional and personal) for you. Give their names, relationship to you, and contact information, usually an email address and/or phone number will suffice.

An hour-long phone interview followed by an in-person interview near your location with a Camp Denali representative is required.

We regret we are not able to conduct in-person interviews outside the U.S. and Canada. International applicants must acquire a work visa valid through the season.
