Thank you for your interest in working with us. We have hired all the seasonal staff for summer 2013.

As of April 25, 2013 we have two full-time year-round positions open, Reservations Coordinator and Program Coordinator. Both have a flexible start date of August 31, 2013. Applicants for these positions should carefully read the job descriptions and then follow the application process outlined below. Applications are being accepted immediately. 

We hire 42 seasonal staff each summer to create a staff of 48 total. Usually 70% are returnees from a previous summer. The deadline for summer 2013 applications was in January. We welcome applications for the summer 2014 season starting in November 2013.

1) A letter that addresses:

• How you heard about Camp Denali and North Face Lodge.
• Why you want to work with us.
• The job(s) you are applying for.
• The relevant skills and experience you bring.
• Something about your work ethic.
• A short description of your near-term goals.
• An indication of your willingness and ability to commit to two summer seasons. Or for Naturalist Guides and Department Coordinators, three summers.
• Your dates of availability; the first and last day you could be working in Alaska. (Our full season is late May through mid-September.  Strong preference is given to applicants who can work two entire seasons.)

2) A current resume that indicates your education, volunteer, and work experiences plus your contact information.

3) Three people who will be references (professional or personal) for you. Provide their names, titles if they have one, relationship to you, and contact information; usually an email address and phone number will suffice.

An hour-long phone interview followed by an in-person interview near your location with a Camp Denali representative is required.

We regret we are not able to conduct in-person interviews outside the U.S. International applicants must acquire a work visa that is valid through the season.
