Apply in November for 2020!

The following items are required as part of a complete application. When prompted to upload your resume, include all three items as one .pdf document OR attach your cover letter and fill in employment and reference details in the online application.

1) A letter that addresses:

  • How you heard about Camp Denali and North Face Lodge
  • Why you want to work with us
  • The job you are applying for
  • What sets you apart from other applicants
  • A description of your work ethic
  • A short description of your near-term goals
  • An indication of your willingness and ability to commit to two years of seasonal (May-September) work in Denali (2018 Seasonal Positions) or to commit to at least three years of employment (Naturalist Guides and Supervisors)
  • Your dates of availability; the first and last day you could be working in Alaska (Our full season is late May through mid-September.  Strong preference is given to applicants who can work a full season)

2) A current resumé that indicates your education, volunteer, and work experiences.

3) Three professional references. Provide their names, titles if they have one, relationship to you, and contact information; usually an email address and phone number will suffice.

An hour-long phone interview followed by an in-person interview at a location convenient to you will be required. In addition, applicants for year-round positions may be required to travel to our property for a visit mid-season.

We regret we are not able to conduct in-person interviews outside the U.S. International applicants must independently acquire a work visa that is valid through the length of their employment.  We do not anticipate hiring any J1 workers for our 2020 summer season.

Feel free to send an email to or call 907-683-2290, should you have any questions.

Thank you,
